On May 28, 2015, in the test site in HIFTZ, Mr. Wu Hao was purchasing a diamond with weight of 1.27 ct through  Haikou Peace Base diamond and jewelry e-commerce website. He paid the diamond via POS  machine using credit card and the preferential price made him excited. This was the first order of  Hainan ”Internet + under bond+ diamond” model, marking the successful completion of the test,  thus creating a new model of China’s bonded trade and a great breakthrough in China’s jewelry and diamond trading industry.

Thanks to the two policies in HIFTZ: First, the  ”Internet + under bond+ diamond”  model was successfully realized in HIFTZ, tax only 10% for purchasing diamond through the website;  second, integrated Customs clearance of HIFTZ and Shanghai Diamond Exchange was formally lunched.  Haikou became the only area possessing this policy in China.

This test laid a good foundation for the next large-scare online trading.
