On February 26, 2016, Shanghai Customs investigates and surveys the pilot project of integrated customs clearance in Haikou FTZ

In the morning of February 26, 2016, authorized by Shanghai Customs, deputy commissioner of Pudong Customs Jian Jiang, deputy director of Shanghai Customs Office in SDE Jue Hu and two members of the group arrive in Haikou FTZ to conduct field research on the integrated customs clearance status.
Accompanied by deputy commissioner of Haikou Customs Shumin Tong, commissioner of Haikou FTZ Customs Hua Liu and director of the Administrative Committee of Haikou FTZ Huiping Liu, the investigating team visits the HPB Project.
After the visit, the investigating team and the accompanying officials hold a conversazione. At the conversazione, commissioner of Haikou FTZ Customs Hua Liu introduces achievements on diamond clearance in 2015, and raises some existing questions and suggestions according to enterprises' requirements; combining with the development trend of Haikou FTZ, director of the Administrative Committee of Haikou FTZ Huiping Liu recommends to implement different regulatory mechanisms according to different business needs, and provide policy support and assistance for creating jewelry industry park in Haikou FTZ; HPB Project is one of the important projects in Haikou FTZ, Baojun Zhang, Chairman of HPB, introduces the current status of the Project. HPB Project covers 87k sq. m. (floor area) in total, including bonded warehouses, factories, an exhibition center and a multiple-use building. At present, many companies have located in HPB Project to form an integrated industrial chain of jewelry import, processing, display and export.
After listening Baojun Zhang's speech, the leaders show their great confidence in HPB's future development.
