In the morning on April 10, a group leading by Mr. Feng, director of Haikou Customs Inspection Department, visits HPB and offers a training in the Standards for the Customs' Certification of Enterprises including application, evaluation, etc. Mr. Zhang, Board Chairman of HPB and related personnel attend this training. Mr. Feng gives a presentation in the Standards for the Customs' Certification of Enterprises mainly focusing on the requirements that AEOs (Authorized Economic Operators) should meet and the favorable measures that AEOs could enjoy, and expresses his full support on HPB for this certification. Mr. Zhang expresses heartfelt thanks to Mr. Feng and his group, shows HPB’s determination in applying for this certification, and will take actions immediately and try our best to comply with the Standards for the Customs' Certification of Enterprises to become one of AEOs.

AEO (short for Authorized Economic Operation) is a standard formulated and popularized by the World Customs Organization for protecting and facilitating international business and trading. Enterprises are divided into AEOs, general credit operators and discredit operators according to the credit status thereof. An AEO is an enterprise with the highest credit rating in customs certified enterprises. Enterprises becoming AEOs can enjoy national customs clearance facilitation measures as well as customs clearance facilitation measures in mutually recognized countries or regions, convenience is brought to enterprises in foreign trading, and international competitiveness of enterprises is heightened.
