On July 26, HPB was awarded with the AEO certificate by Haikou Customs Authority, becoming one of the AEO certified enterprises in Hainan. The AEO certified enterprises must go through strict audit conducted under a plurality of basic clauses such as internal control, financial situation, trade security, etc. as well as additional provisions in the AEO standard issued by the General Administration of Customs. HPB passed this certification successfully by means of strict internal control and high-integrity operation.

At present, China customs has achieved mutual recognition with more than 30 countries and regions such as Singapore, South Korea, European Union countries, Switzerland and New Zealand, etc. AEO certified enterprises could enjoy simplified procedures in customs clearance in mutually recognized AEO countries. In other words, HPB gained a global VIP card for quick customs clearance in relevant countries or regions, bringing benefit to further development of overseas market and expansion of foreign trade.
