In the afternoon of August 18, a delegation from Beijing Gongmei Group visited HPB for project investigation and research. The group members mainly came from Beijing Gongmei Group and its subsidiaries, including Group Chairman Li Jie, General Counsel Bi Lijun, Executive Vice-general Manager Wang Jian, Vice-general Manager Bian Guangzeng, Vice-general Manager & Director of National Jewelry Standardization Technical Committee Duan Tiyu, General Legal Counsel & Board Secretariat and Office Director Liu Wei, General Manager Liu Jianzhong of Beijing Orafi Jewelry Co., Ltd, Chairman Fu Bin of Beijing Gongmei Jewelry Investment Company, Investment Director Liang Chunsheng, Vice-director of Finance Liu Chunyu, etc. Executive director Cheng Zhong of CAQ Holdings Limited who is also general manager of HPB, Chairman Zhang Baojun, General Counsel Lv Wenyuan and Vice-general manager Wu Hao of HPB prepared warm reception for this group.

Mr. Zhang Baojun made a detailed interpretation on its business and development to the delegation, and showed them regional advantages, policy advantages, resource advantages, etc. Accompanied by Mr. Cheng Zhong and other managements, the delegation toured HPB’s industrial park and visited NGTC test lab, exhibition center, etc. They highly praised the supporting facilities.

Both parties had a panel discussion in a meeting room located on the second floor of HPB’s administrative building. During the meeting, Mr. Li Jie, Chairman of Beijing Gongmei Group made a detailed introduction on Gongmei’s development history, business and its strong points. Under the background of building Hainan into a free trade port, Mr. Li showed strong interest in put investment in Hainan, and expressed his hope that both companies can achieve sincere cooperation with strength combination, resource sharing and mutual tolerance. The management of HPB expressed warm welcome to the delegation, and sincerely invited them to open factory in Haikou FTZ, to create a complete diamond & gold jewelry industrial chain in Hainan Island together. This meeting laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between both parties. Both parties wished to make their contribution to the development of Hainan’s jewelry industry.
