In the morning of October 30, a special research group led by Mr. Yu Guangzhou, Standing Committee member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Vice Commissioner of Economic Committee of CPPCC, visited HPB for investigation, accompanied by Mr. Mao Wanchun, Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Hainan Committee and Secretary of Party Leadership Group thereof, Mr. Li Guoliang, Vice Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Hainan Committee and Deputy Secretary of Party Leadership Group thereof, Mr. Wang Yunxia, Chairman of Haikou Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Liu Huiping, Vice Chairman of Haikou Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Director of Haikou FTZ Administrative Committee, Mr. Han Bin, Party Secretary of Haikou FTZ, etc. Mr. Zhang Baojun, Chairman of HPB warmly received this group, gave a detailed introduction on HPB’s development, and guided the group to visit Haikou lab of NGTC.

Mr. Yu Guangzhou highly praised HPB’s achievement gained under Shanghai and Haikou Integrated Customs Clearance Policy, and expressed his hope that HPB could continue staying true to the mission and grasp the opportunity to enlarge customs clearance business in a down-to-earth manner under the background that Hainan is to be built into a Free Trade Port. Meanwhile, he expressed higher expectations for HPB’ progress in the near future.
