In the morning of March 9, 2016, the grand ceremony for the opening of NGTC Laboratory Haikou Branch and Customs Office in HPB Multiple-use Building within Haikou FTZ was held. Accompanied by the leaders of NGTC, HPB, the Administrative Committee of Haikou FTZ and the Haikou Customs, Shiwen Sun, Haikou deputy mayor, attended the event.
Haikou deputy mayor Shiwen Sun, director of NGTC Lijun Bi, deputy commissioner of Haikou Customs Shumin Tong and director of the Administrative Committee of Haikou FTZ Huiping Liu jointly inaugurated the laboratory.Haikou deputy mayor Shiwen Sun and deputy commissioner of Haikou Customs Shumin Tong jointly inaugurated the customs office.Qiao Cai, deputy secretary-general of the Haikou governmentand related officials of NGTC Guangzhou Branch, Haikou Development and Reform Commission, Haikou Tourism Development Commission, Haikou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, HKSTI, Haikou FTZ Customs, CIQ, SAT Hainan Provincial office, Hainan Local Taxation Bureau, HKAIC, Haikou Municipal Public Security Bureau, other government department, HDFC and Citic Bank Hainan Branch etc. attended the ceremony.After the ceremony, the attendees visited the NGTC Laboratory Haikou Branch, customs office and diamond jewelry processing enterprises in Haikou FTZ.
The six-story HPB Multiple-use Building in Haikou FTZ covers about 6000 square meters. In the building, there are NGTC Laboratory Haikou Branch, customs office, and departments of HPB. The use of HPB Multiple-use building help improve corresponding hardware and software greatly.
