In the afternoon of April 7, 2016, Chaofeng Mao, member of Hainan Provincial Committee and Executive Deputy  Governor,  accompanied by Mayor Qiang Ni, visits Haikou FTZ for investigating and surveying the industrial development  and  construction status of HPB Project.

Chaofeng Mao investigates and surveys the NGTC work station located in the HPB Multiple-use Building and the product  line,  located in the HPB factory building,  of  the Hong Kong enterprise in HPB Project  to know details about  import  of  jewelry raw materials, the processing and the like.

Director of Haikou FTZ introduces that approved by General Administration of Customs, Haikou FTZ and SDE have  carried out a pilot project of integrated customs clearance. Haikou FTZ  and  NGTC  also  reach  an  agreement  on  setting-up  of  the NGTC work station in the FTZ to provide technical support and supporting services for the industrial  development  of diamond jewelry processing and exhibition, promote quality supervision, inspection and other work  for  diamond jewelry, and customize special policies for enterprises in the FTZ.

Chaofeng Mao points out that obtained special policies on customs clearance for diamond jewelry trade,  Haikou FTZ  should make full use of these policies to attract more enterprises into Haikou FTZ to form the industrial chain, and   quickly  transform the preferential policies into realistic productivity.
